Learn-to-Skate

The ISI based WE-Skate (learn-to-skate) instruction is used to introduce basic skating skills to students of all ages.  Participants learn the techniques required to successful skating.  Instruction includes safety on the ice, snowplow stop, stroking forward and backward, balance and coordination.

  • Learn-to-Skate Classes

    Fall and Winter Classes are now forming.  Please click on the link below to obtain a registration form for all Learn-to-Skate classes.  Simply fill it out and bring it to the Walker Rink to sign up.

Classes are held on Saturdays

 Session 1 (7 week session)

 Nov 7, 2009 through Dec 19, 2009

Session 2 (7 week session)

Jan 2, 2010 through Feb 13, 2010

Session 3 (5 week session)

Feb 20, 2010 through March 20, 2010

 

Group A Beginners 12:40 - 1:20

Group B Intermediates 1:30 - 2:20

Group C Advanced/Adults 4:30 - 5:10
and 5:10 - 5:50 pm
